What are essential oils?

How do I use essential oils?

There are three main ways to use your oil!

- You can place a few (2-3) drops on the bracelet and enjoy the scent all day long.

- You can topically apply the oil onto various pulse points on your body such as your wrists, behind the ears or neck, and the bottoms of your feet. We recommend diluting the oil with a little bit of a carrier oil (such as coconut, jojoba, almond, etc) if you have sensitive skin! The carrier oil also helps spread the essential oil to a larger area on your body!

- You can also use a diffuser to let the aromas circulate throughout your room. You'll want to turn the diffuser on about 30 minutes before you want to fall asleep, so the aromas can fill the room and the relaxing effects can take place.

Are essential oils safe to use around children?

All of our products are 100% safe to use around children. However we do not suggest applying the oils directly onto your children’s skin, as they are more sensitive to the effects of essential oils. If you choose to use essential oils on your children, make sure to dilute the oils before application.

Are essential oils safe to use around pets?

Most of our oils are safe to use around pets, especially our Peaceful Paws blend which is crafted just for pets! However, our furry friends are more sensitive to essential oils than we are, and there are some essential oils that should not be used on or around pets

Not safe for cats: Wintergreen, Citrus (Lemon, Grapefruit, Bergamot, Lime), Pine, Ylang ylang, Peppermint, Cinnamon, Clove, Eucalyptus, Tea tree Oregano, Lavender

Not safe for dogs: Cinnamon, Citrus (Lemon, Grapefruit, Bergamot, Lime), Peppermint, Pine, Tea tree (melaleuca), Wintergreen, Ylang ylang, Clove, Juniper

How long does a bottle last?

It depends on how frequently you use the oil! For some, a bottle may only last for 2-3 weeks, for others it can last up to a few months! The average time is about 1 month per bottle of oil.

Are your essential oils therapeutic grade? Can they be ingested?

Our essential oils are therapeutic grade, 100% natural and non-gmo. Our oils are GC/MS tested for purity and authenticity.

Are there any side effects from using essential oils?

Essential oils that have sedative effects, such as our Fast Asleep blend, can increase side effects of medications that have sedative effects. We always suggest consulting with your doctor before using essential oils to ensure they will not interact with your medications or cause any adverse effects.

What does “subscribe” mean?

All of our single note oils and essential oil blends have a “subscribe & save” option that allows you to automatically receive a new order of the same product each month. With a monthly subscription, you don’t have to worry about running out of your product, and save 45% off the original price!

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes! Give our customer service team a call at +1 (800) 939-7547 or send us an email to hello@infusedessence.com and we’ll turn off your subscription at any time.

What does GC/MS testing mean?

“Gas Chromatography (GC) is a method of separating the volatile compounds in essential oils into individual components and produces a linear graph that charts these components. Mass Spectrometry (MS) identifies each of these components and their percentages. This process can identify if adulteration has happened to the essential oil tested. Additionally, the precise breakdown of the chemical components in each oil given to us by GC/MS reports is significant because the therapeutic benefits and safety issues of essential oils are, in large part, determined by their chemical makeup.”

Can I use essential oils with my CPAP machine?

Yes! To best enjoy your oils while using a CPAP machine, we do not recommend putting the oils directly into your machine. Instead, try using an electronic diffuser in your room 10-30 minutes before you intend to sleep. Another great method is to apply topically onto the bottoms of your feet or your wrists. SHIPPING & AVAILABILITY

Do you ship to Canada?

Yes, we do ship internationally to Canada. The average shipping time for Canadian orders is 11 days. Please note times given are only estimates and actual transit time may be longer due to customs and delays from international carriers.

Why don't you ship to my country?

The process for import into each country can be very time-consuming! We will be working diligently with international agencies over the coming months to expand to your country. Feel free to send us an email at hello@infusedessence.com asking for an update on your country, otherwise stay tuned!

Do you offer expedited shipping?

We offer ground shipping and do not yet offer overnight or expedited shipping.

Do you have a physical store?

Currently, Infused Essence is only sold online.

How fast does my order ship?

It typically takes 1-2 days to ship your order. If you order on a Saturday, your order will be processed on the following Monday as our hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm Pacific Time.

Once shipped, it can take from 3-7 days to receive your products depending on where you live.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

What is the return policy?

We offer a 30 day money back guarantee if you are unsatisfied with your purchase! Reach out to our customer service team to obtain your prepaid return label for your convenience. Your total refund will be the original order cost minus the return shipping cost. We will email you the label and once we receive the product we will issue your refund.

I received a damaged, defective or incorrect item. What do I do?

If you've received an order containing a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact our support team here as soon as possible with your order number and a photo of the issue — we'll make it right.

How long will it take for my refund to show up in my account?

Once we confirm that we have received your returned products, we will issue your refund. Once issued, it may take your bank up to 7-10 business days to process the refund.
