DIY Monster Away Sleep Spray + Bedtime Routine for Kids

by Infused Essence

Whether it's a temper tantrum or the monsters under the bed, kids have many reasons for not falling asleep. With this bedtime routine, you can help your little ones rest their minds and bodies in one go.

Monster Away Sleep Spray

Ingredients:

  • 15 drops Fast Asleep
  • 2 oz distilled water
  • 2 oz spray bottle

Add 15 drops of Fast Asleep to a spray bottle. Fill to the top with distilled water. Shake to mix.

**If you don't have Fast Asleep, you can blend single notes together to make your own sleep blend with essential oils such as Lavender, Clary Sage, or Bergamot.

Using Monster Away

Monster Away Sleep Spray packs a two-for-one punch. Not only does using this spray help your kiddos feel protected, but the essential oils' therapeutic effects also helps them get a better night's sleep. By reducing stress & anxiety, calming the heart rate, and inducing relaxation, the Monster Away Spray helps your child fall and stay asleep.

How to Spray

You can make your spray into a bedtime routine to help your child settle down before bed and feel more safe! After tucking in your little one, you can spritz the Monster Away Spray around their bedroom, windows, doors, closet, under their bed, around their bed & pillow, or anywhere else the monsters might be lurking. This will diffuse the oil throughout the room for a peaceful night's sleep.

Bedtime Routine

While spraying the room, you can practice breathing exercises with your child to help them calm their body before bed. Have your child take a deep breath while you say  "1...2...3, monsters leave me be!" then exhale as you say "4...5...6... no more monster tricks". This breathing will help them relax their body, and the mantra will help calm their fears, making bedtime a breeze.
